There are forces of nature all around us, including the surprise, but not really, of my blown radiator.
I say this in jest, but what is not a joke is confirmation of my suspicion that while there is undoubtedly stranger danger, more importantly, there is a boundlessness to the surprising generosity of the human spirit, especially when we least expect it.
For context, over 36 hours earlier this year, seven human angels rushed in to help me escape a challenging situation with My Girl, aka my classic Jeep Wrangler Sport.
I will not bore you with the nitty-gritty as my truck careened into uncertainty along Texas State Highway 71.
Still, I will illuminate how the kindness of strangers, who have since become friends, reminds me that while we may not always visually recognize empathy when we see it, the heart-warming feeling of its presence is undeniable.
Until we meet again, make meaningful connections through listening to learn. ❤️
